Pistole 08, page 15 The result
of the researches on Georg Luger made by Mr. Kornmayer and Mr. Görtz has then
described in the Personalia chapter
of the Görtz book “Die Pistole 08”. In particular, Georg Luger
worked in the Ludwig Loewe & Co from 1892 till 1897 as “Waffentechniker”. The
Georg Luger activity was not limited to DWM but he also represented the other
daughter companies as well as the Loewe parent company during the years to
come. The hand written correspondence from Georg Luger, addressed to Paul
Mauser, illustrate this.
